It's summertime! And beach living is easy on Tybee Island. One of the most relaxing coastal shores of the South is anticipating its most fabulous season, but it wouldn't be the same without you.

As we prepare for warm summer days and pleasant nights, let's cheers to the summer on Tybee Island together at a few beloved eateries.

Pier 16 Seafood Restaurant

One block from the beach and a rooftop view of Tybrisa Street is Pier 16 Seafood Restaurant. This family-owned restaurant is focused on seasonal and flavorful dishes paired with sparkling wines, cold beers and craft cocktails. The Watermelon Goddess cocktail is "divine."

Zunzibar

No stranger to the area but new to the island, Zunzibar is notorious for its South African-inspired cuisine, but its tropical outdoor dining appeal and ice cold froze make it irresistible. It's a fantastic start to begin the season. Just follow the rainbow umbrellas; you can't miss them!

Fannie's On the Beach

Beachfront dining and live music weekends are what you'll admire about Fannie's On the Beach. Everyone knows that Fannie's signature "Big Rita" goes great with seafood and pizza, or try the "Big Ol Mary" on for size. Whatever you don't finish onsite, take it to the beach and enjoy the epic seasonal sunset.

Wet Willies

A name known by many, Wet Willies doesn't disappoint if you're looking for a good time and great drinks. Their sought-after assortment of frozen daiquiris, such as Call-A-Cab and classic strawberry, are perfect for keeping you cool and "toasted" at the same time.

The Deck Beachbar

The ocean is front and center at The Deck Beachbar & Kitchen, so views, sunsets and cocktails are highly recommended. Here, the wines of red and white, sparkling or rosé, cold beer and cocktails are sipped slowly in the salty Atlantic breeze. Try the Brownstone Winery Merlot or Chardonnay on for size or the Classic City Lager.

North Beach Bar & Grill

It's a mix of surf shack and Caribbean flair with beach access, feel-good food, and, of course, beer. North Beach Bar & Grill is located on - you guessed it, North Beach. It feels like summer all year round here with indoor or outdoor dining. The menu is uncomplicated and fantastic. Diet Cokes, Mr. Pibbs, Coronas and Heinekens toast just as fine.

Chamacos Tacos and Surf

Street tacos, guac, chips, salsa and taquitos, yes, please! Add on a Watermelon Marg, Bloody Maria or an old-fashioned Pacifico at Chamacos Tacos and Surf and we can officially say cheers to summer on Tybee Island.
