In 1973, she became the first female performer to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Meg Bishop, formerly a Tybee Island resident and an educator by profession, has perfected her interpretation and sound of Patsy Cline. Hailing from Albany, Georgia, Meg began thrilling audiences when she was a young teen - much like Patsy did. With her clear alto voice, she has been able to capture the very essence of Patsy Cline.
