You Haven’t Lived Until You’ve Tried These Unique Tybee Island Ice Cream Flavors

Tybee is home to some unique delicacies. We’ve got the scoop on these specialty ice cream flavors and, if you’re nice, we’ll share a spoonful.

1. Banana Pudding from the Sugar Shack

No, you’re aren’t dreaming — this southern favorite is now an ice cream flavor. Between the fresh bananas and real chunks of vanilla wafers, you won’t want to waste a single drip.

2. Tybee Marsh Mud from Jimmy’s Seaside Sweets

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this rich combination of vanilla ice cream, caramel and fudge chunks. The creamy, sweet flavors paired with a crunchy waffle cone will have you swooning faster than you can say “marsh mud.”

3. Praline and Pecan from Seaweeds

Located next door to delicious Sting Ray’s Seafood, you’ll find this hidden gem. More than half of the many ice cream flavors are made in-house, ranging from honey-vanilla to the local favorite flavor referred to simply as “the signature.” We, however, were enamored by the vanilla ice cream studded with halved pecans, praline pieces and caramel ribbons.

4. Red Velvet Cake from Sweetie Pies

Where else can you find sassy-chic women scooping irresistible gelato in a vintage trailer? This red velvet ice cream is packed with dark chocolate chunks and is clinically proven to brighten your mood and lift your spirits.
