25th Annual Savannah Lighted Boat Parade

Every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, friends and families gather at the waterfront for a dazzling spectacle of lights on the Savannah River. A Christmas on the River signature event, the 25th Annual Savannah Lighted Boat Parade takes place on Saturday, November 28, 2026. Thirty+ dedicated captains and their crews create extravagant holiday light displays. From 7:00pm - 9:00pm, they parade twice from Eastern Wharf to the Talmadge Bridge and back past Plant Riverside District and all of River Street.
