Why Everyone Loves This Tybee Island Restaurant
Funky eateries are a common sight on colorful Tybee Island, but only one actually calls you to dinner from the beach. Fannie’s On The Beach is one of the island’s most popular restaurants – and for good reason!
Open for brunch, lunch and dinner daily, Fannie’s is perhaps best identified by its pink exterior that boasts three words: “Time to Eat,” a welcome reminder visible all the way from the beach.
With outdoor seating options reminiscent of a street cafe, this place is a great place to grab a casual bite to eat during a busy beach day.
For some, though, only a seat inside the air-conditioned restaurant will do. Take a reprieve from the summer sun with one of the house’s famous frosty cocktails and fresh mahi tacos.
Or perhaps Fannie’s favorite grilled shrimp salad with fresh raspberry-and-walnut vinaigrette is more your speed?
Either way, there’s one thing all of Fannie’s patrons agree on: their pizzas are a must. The dough is always made in-house with fresh ingredients and baked on a seasoned stone.
So whether you’re simply cooling off or chowing down, Fannie’s On The Beach is a can’t-miss Tybee Island treat!
