The days are getting warmer and the events are becoming more plentiful on Tybee Island! From festivals and markets to live music and races, there are tons of alluring events to choose from this month.

Tybee Island Farmers Market

This open-air market is a great way to get in touch with Tybee’s quirky community. Held on the lush grounds of the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse, the combination of locally made products, fresh produce, woven baskets and warm sunlight will leave you refreshed and enlivened.

Danielle Hicks at Fannie’s On The Beach

This powerhouse singer and her talented band have been making a name for themselves all around Tybee Island and in nearby Savannah. Enjoy a slice of Fannie’s’ handmade pizza while you watch this sassy trio’s funky blues and cool jazz set.

Easter Sunrise Service on the Pier

Begin your Easter Sunday with a breathtaking sunrise service on the Tybee Island Pier. All Saints Episcopal Church will host an Easter breakfast in their Mission Hall at 8:30 a.m., followed by another service at 10 a.m. It’s sure to be the most memorable Easter service you’ve ever experienced.

Call of the Wild Live

13th Annual Turtle Trot

Kick off Tybee’s Loggerhead Sea Turtle mating season with the 13th annual Turtle Trot, a 5k beach run hosted by the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. Directly following the race, stay and cheer on the ceremonial release of one of the Marine Science Center‘s sea turtles into the Atlantic Ocean. Register for the Turtle Trot here.

Kite Flying Festival
